A lot of states in the U.S. and countries all over the world have made CBD oil legal and accessible to the public (with some slight variations from state to state) and the scientific community has been investigating it intensively.
Known for centuries for its therapeutic potential, CBD oil has taken the world by the storm thanks to its numerous health benefits.
It has also conquered Hollywood.
Would I be exaggerating if I said that CBD is as famous as the celebrities that use it?

What is CBD?
CBD oil is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis sativa.
Studies have found that it has anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory properties. It can treat various health issues like arthritis, anxiety disorders along with several neuropathies and dermatological problems. It can be used to fight drug or tobacco addiction and alcohol use disorder.
The list of health problems it helps with is long. So is the list of the celebrities that endorse cannabinoids.

Whoopi is a famous cannabinoid advocate and consumer. She says she has a private relationship with Sippy, her vape pen. She uses cannabinoids for stress, discomfort, pressure, pain, and glaucoma. Recently, she and Maya Elisabeth started a company called Whoopi & Maya. Their firm sells CBD edibles, tinctures, salves, topicals, and a THC bath soak.
You all know him. What, perhaps, you don’t know about him, is that he is a passionate activist regarding the legalization of cannabis.
He started advocating for CBD after an almost fatal car accident in 2008. Freeman uses CBD products to treat the chronic pain caused by the accident. He also uses THC to treat his fibromyalgia.

This down-to-earth celebrity has openly admitted her struggle with pain, anxiety, and stress. It doesn’t surprise me that she turned to CBD to feel good on a daily basis.

Her Royal Highness Rihanna uses products infused with CBD oil which seem to be the new beauty trend in Hollywood.
Canadian actor and comedian Seth Rogen is a strong believer in the benefits of CBD for Alzheimer’s prevention. Motivated by his mother-in-law’s condition (She was diagnosed suffering from Alzheimer’s), he spoke in Congress about the state of Alzheimer research and the public perception of people with the disease
He has founded a non-profit organization Hilarity for Charity with his wife. HFC researches into treatments and care for Alzheimer’s disease sufferers, including the use of CBD oil as a potential treatment tool
Canadian-American Tommy Chong besides being an actor, writer, director, and musician, he is also an activist for cannabis rights. When talking about his recovery from prostate cancer in 2012 he credits the healing effects of CBD oil. “I kicked cancer’s ass,” he said
Back in 1999, TV host, radio talk show host and actor Montel Williams was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
MS is a very painful disease which affected the patient’s body from head to toes and causes his immune system to attack the insulation around the nerves.
MS was followed by a depression so severe that made Montel Williams attempt suicide jumping in front of a taxi.

Oliver Stone is a CBD advocate due to years of use to treat his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder he brought home after the Vietnam war.
He managed to deal with his psychological trauma with the help of cannabis products. Stone believes that CBD can help people manage various problems and should be made easily available to people in need.
Nixon is an unstoppable political activist and her liberal political ideas are known to all.
I’m not, at all, surprised that she endorses CDD use. Nixon has expressed her desire for the legalization of cannabis in the state of New York and the immediate release of all those people incarcerated for cannabis use and possession over the years. Nixon for mayor!
Perhaps Jack Nicholson should join forces with Cynthia Nixon since they share the same ideas. Nicholson characterizes prescription medicines as narcotics harmful to public health and wants to see cannabis legal before he dies.
The “Fifty Shades of Grey”star has revealed suffering from an anxiety disorder in the past. Prone to panic attacks she uses CBD to get some peace of mind and to relax her nervous system.
During an interview with Elle, she admitted of being a big fan of CBD and she revealed that CBD is her secret to getting some shut-eye while on long flights.
Awesome actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Susan Sarandon has openly revealed her opinion on cannabis products.
She suggests that CBD is a great natural product that should be combined with wellness practices like yoga and meditation.
